Dissolved and distributed within human-made infrastructures on this planet, artificial intelligence technologies are long beyond its celebrity cousin - the Artificial General Intelligence (AGI). Pop-cultural narratives, products of entertainment industry have a tendency to mess with human heads, substituting scientific facts with pretty fantasies.

Queer Feminist AI - a game character from the latest project by BBB_, Songs of Cyborgeoisie, is intimidating and strong, soft-tempered and steel-bodied Artificial General Intelligence - an uncanny, techno-futuristic human-like robot, indistinguishably intellectually intelligent, but still controllable, hardwired vessel for digital soul with a capacity to feel, dream and master unbound creativity.

On the picture you can see an excerpt of the computer game "Songs of Cyborgeoisie" in the level "Anger of the Bigdog". In this level, the player personifies a robodog that has to fight in a flame-filled arena against an anonymous random white tech programmer. In the background, you can see many white clones of the programmer cheering with their arms raised. The mood is threatening and active.

You can see a scene from the level "Robear Rehab", where various algorithmic characters gather in a circle. They are in Robear Rehab, a place with shiny pink and purple walls, where they are supposed to be healed from their algorithmically induced traumas.

Along with other inhabitants of the Robear Rehab - a rehabilitation center in a fantasy Universe of Cyborgeoisie - the AI character shares trauma of their feminine antagonist status quo in pop-cultural narratives on digital technology and its prescribed role in technological futures.

While AGI is idolized and fetishised, injured or murdered, subordinated and generally dramatised, varieties of artificial intelligence technologies infiltrate all spheres of life, reinforce human bias, and thus foster automated inequality in the present, making non-dystopian futures impossible to
imagine.

On the picture you can see another playable character from the game. The view shows the character from behind, from the third person perspective. It is a Frankenstein-like, or zombie-like character, composed of two bodies, and has two heads. It walks through a dark, gloomy world across an abandoned street surrounded by partially lit skyscrapers and factory buildings and neon signs.

As a counterweight to the power of oppressive AI algorithms, carrying a single biased world perspective, behind the Queer Feminist Artificial Intelligence are data science and data ethics, informed by queer intersectional feminism.

In the picture, you can see a kind of electrified sphere carrying a chip in the middle. It flies through a glistening, blurry computer world of electrical components.

What kind of narratives do we need to shift and alter pop-cultural understanding of the artificial intelligences? How can such stories be accessible to a wider audience, but still down to earth and unsimplified?

This Face Filter is an opportunity to transpose to the traumatised Queer Feminist AI - a performative social media element, which could entertain, but foremost foster a non-linear conversation on what are all the things that artificial intelligence technology is, and of what it is not.

The image shows a screenshot of the "Feminist AI" Instagram Face Filter designed by allapop. The filter is a shiny child-like face without hair, but with eye makeup. The neck is a machine-like robotic neck. The filter character wears a long-sleeved neon green shirt that reads, "Artificial Intelligence... does not think like humans and doesn't have human like interests and needs." The background is also neon green and also features the colorful Feminist AI logo in modern font.
